The Staff Dashboard is the first screen every user interacts with. It's designed to reduce cognitive load by presenting only the most actionable information for the current shift.
1. Smart Briefing
Instead of digging through menus, the Smart Briefing panel aggregates:
- Activity Feeds: Live updates from your department.
- Critical Alerts: Code Blue or Urgent notifications broadcasted instantly.
- Quick Stats: Bed occupancy, pending labs, or unread messages.

2. HR & Workforce Management
Manage your schedule without leaving the platform. The dashboard integrates:
- Shift Scheduling: View your upcoming rotations.
- On-Call Tracking: Designate yourself as "On-Call" for emergencies.
- Time & Attendance: Seamless clock-in/out directly from the sidebar.
Use the shortcut Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows) to instantly search
for a colleague's shift status.
3. Hospital Management
Admins have access to granular controls for the facility structure:
- Ward Management: Open/Close wards, assign head nurses.
- Bed Management: Real-time bed availability tracking.
- Department Config: Set specialized workflows for ER, ICU, or Pediatrics.
4. Audit Logging
Security is paramount. Every action—viewing a record, editing a note, or exporting data—is logged immutably.
